The Only Poundcake You'll Remember for the Rest of Your Life

The Ellis family was blessed to always have a nice dessert after a lunch or dinner meal. From this experience was born a breath taking poundcake enjoyed by 10 children and greater part of Central Texas.

Jessie Ellis gave this baking anointing to her youngest daughter, at home, Joyce. Still to this day, the buttery, moist, lemon spectacle would become a "Sweettooths" cure and our small peace of heaven on earth.

Come enjoy the finest quality poundcake, drizzled with homemade lemon glaze icing. Baked specifically for your enjoyment.

"Cause its not just the ingredients we put in our poundcakes, it's the Love we put in the ingredients in our poundcakes."

Come and see why people say Ellis Sweettooth are the only poundcakes you'll remember for the rest of your life.!

Testimonials

It was in a bake sale by the slice in San Antonio, when the first lady stepped up and ask for a slice-she stood right in place and tasted it, then she immediatley bent over the table, put the foil secure around it and scooped up the entire cake without saying a word. She went over to the cash table and threw $25 on the table and kept stepping. Others that had seen the cake was upset that she took all of it.

It has sold for as high as $375 in a bake sale.

My first bulk sell was for the Neblett family reunion this past summer. I baked 6 large loaf of bread size Lemon Glazed Pound Cakes and one round Chocolate Candy Bar Cake. I was informed later that the next Reunion is out of the state next year and they expect to have my cakes loaded for the bus trip.

It has been called, "THE CAKE", "HEAVEN IN FOIL", "JOYCE MARIE'S CAKE" it has even been called the "BAD CAKE", because a person stated it keeps messing with you until you eat it all.

Our cakes have traveled as far as Iraq and California. The group in iraq was so surprised that it was still moist as well as good taste. The group in California requested another one right away and said that one person was trying to boss the cake and tell others when it was suppose to be eaten.

About two months ago I met an A&M student that was volunteering at the African American Museum.. I was taking some cakes by as of token of "Thanks" to some employees. She stated that she would really enjoying eating a good cake. On leaving, she was also going to her car, I called her over to my car and I gave her one of the cakes. She thanked me and said she would share it with her mother. I saw her about three weeks later and she told me how much she enjoyed it-so much that she did not have any to share with her mon when she arrived home. I just said oh, then, I asked her where she lived. She told me that she lived way out on FM 2818. She left off of East Pruitt Street to return home. She said, she did not have a knife, so she said she was driving, pulling and tearing off cake unitl it was all gone. She said she was shocked that she did not have any when she parked her car.
